I worked with John and his mom Lena at Spiegel in the 1980's. I was sorry to hear that John had passed away. He was probably one of the nicest people I knew. I think he took after his mother in that respect because she was also one of the sweetest people I knew. I feel I am a better person for having known both of them.

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of "Johnny". My Mother use to call him Johnny Belcher. My Dad extends his sympathy and so does my family and Sophie, the caregiver. My dad is your neighbor across the street at 5119 S. Maplewood. John use to come over to visit him and talk with Sophie out in front of the house when she was doing yard work. We are so sorry for your loss.
