John Bailey Obituary

Bailey, John F. 72, of Homewood, IL, beloved husband and father departed this life July 6, 2010. He leaves behind loving wife Ruby Bailey, daughter Kelly Bailey-Harris, mother Amanda Bailey of Chicago and two siblings Forest Bailey and Deloris Bailey, he also leaves behind seven wonderful grandchildren. John served his country in the military until 1968, 15 years in the Chicago Police Department, and over 25 years with All State Insurance. John was preceded in death by son John F. Bailey Jr. and daughter Kimberly W. Bailey. Funeral services will be held Thursday, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 1257 W. 111th St., Chicago where he was a faithful member til his departure of this life. Wake 10 to 11 a.m. and funeral from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon, Thursday, July 15th. Burial will be at Washington Memorial Gardens, Halstead & Ridge Street, Homewood, IL at 2 p.m.

The neighborhood will miss you John. You were always here to help us with a smile. I can't help looking over to see if your car is here to know if your home safe. Now your home but not on Hart Drive. We all feel at a loss without you here. Sincerely, Jan
