John Badon Obituary
John, age 82, passed away peacefully in LaGrange on 3/9/25 after a short illness.
John attended college in Stevens Point Wisconsin and worked in Traffic and Logistics as a career for all his life. He especially loved working at Motorola, Qasar, and Yusen Logistics.
He made friends easily and also leaves behind many friends, cousins and other family members.
John was very religious and was very passionate about his Catholic faith.
He has hit the final trail and is now in the hands of the Lord.
John was the loving husband and soulmate to Julianne (Rimkus).
Father to John, Mairi (Hopkins), Matthew, Molly (Bishop) and Amanda.
He was brother to Paul and to Angie (Blavat).
He was brother-in-law to Peter and Pam Rimkus and to Teri Verbic.
He was a very proud grandfather (Bops) to Sean Cognato (Meghan), Elena Mendoza, Christian Haremza, Brendan Cognato, Cassandra (Kevin Hunn), David DeFilippis, the late Angela DeFilippis, Michael Gutierrez, Jesse Badon, Michael Bishop, Colleen Badon, Daniel Bishop, Anna Badon, Grace Badon, and Ryan Badon.
He was also proud to be the great grandfather of Olivia and Wyatt Hunn.
He was father-in-law to Kathy (John) Badon, Marvin Hopkins, Danielle (Matt) Badon and Tim Bishop.
He is preceded in death by his father John, mother Lottie and his grand daughter Angela DeFilippis.
Memorial Mass to be scheduled following his private cremation.

My prayers are with you, Badon family, as you grieve the loss of your dad, Grampa and even great Grampa. I always felt close to your family and I remember Mr Badon with great fondness.
