My mom and I were very fond of Joe. We first met at 400 E. through Mickey. I always admired Joe and frequently ran into him in the work-out room. He was always friendly and had a kind or funny thing to relate to me. He had an amazing physique for someone his age and I admired how dedicated he was to working out. We were sorry to see him leave the building. We will miss his spirit.

My favorite memory of Joe was when I showed up at Mickey and Joe's apartment with a gown for Mickey to wear to Matt and Jenny's wedding. After I helped Mickey dress we called for Joe to come in the room. He took one look, smiled and said, "The Queen of England never looked this good."
Joe was a man with an amazing attitude who for many years made my mother-in-law very happy. My condolences to the family
