Our deepest sympathy to the Poprawski family but especially to Emil and Priscilla on the loss of Emil's mother.
Emil and Priscilla were always there for her tending to all her wants and needs. She was loved very much.
May the Angels lead her into Paradise and the Saints forever welcome her.. Bless you all ~

I was a student of Mrs. Poprawski at St. Peter Canisius elementary school in Chicago during the years 1970 and 1971. I must credit her with my love of music. I remember her being so enthusiastic with all the varied types of music that she played on the piano and, on the phonograph. Because of her, I love Gershwin, Tschaikovsky, and Chopin - and many more. I would love her children, grandchildren to know that I have often thought of her over the years and that she changed my life. I have a love and deep appreciation for music because of Mrs. Poprawski. My deep sympathy for your loss. May God bless you.

We are so sorry to hear about Mrs. Poprawski's passing. My family was from St. Peter Canisius and we all had her as our music teacher. We still remember songs she taught us and we are all in our 40's and 50's. We speak of her often. She was a wonderful lady and a wonderful influence in our lives. May she rest in peace. I am sure she is teaching the angels how to really sing.
