I just heard and so sorry, so sad to hear of Joanne's passing.
I met Joanne when I was 16 working at Marshall field's.
Joanne was a manager, then asst. buyer then buyer.
I remember Joanne telling of how she met Peter,the neighbor,how they how fell in love. She was so happy.
I bumped into Joanne in the fall of 2005. She told me of the battle and shared the love of her son, parents , Peter and friends.
God bless Joanne and her family.
She was and is a gift.

To Joanne's family;
Although I have not had contact with Joanne for many years, I will always have fond memories of our friendship in high school and travelling to Europe together. Joanne's love of life and her strength in facing adversity was truly an inspiration. May your memories be a source of warmth and comfort during this difficult time and may you know an end to your sorrow. Her memory is a blessing.
