JoAnn J. Tomczak, nee Vajko, age 69, of Lemont, passed away September 29, 2023, with her family at her side. JoAnn was a proud business owner for 21 years. She loved fishing and camping at the Pure Rod and Gun Club and was a big White Sox fan. Adored daughter of the late Fathe and the late Robert Vajko; beloved wife of the late Martin V. Tomczak, Sr.; loving mother of Marty (Nikki) Tomczak, Jr. and Michael (Christine) Tomczak; cherished grandmother of Samantha (Rami) Bitar, Tanner, Olivia, and Taylor; dearest great-grandmother of Baz Bitar; fond sister of the late Robert Vajko, late Tony Vajko, Andy Vajko, Louie (Donna) Vajko, and Kevin Vajko; and proud daughter-in-law of Doris Baum. My most sincere condolences to JoAnn's entire family...She loved you all with everything she had. Jo was so proud of her boys and all her grandchildren! She took pride and enjoyed taking care of her brothers. She was an amazing friend to me for over 20 years and I will miss her forever I feel so blessed to have known her and enjoyed so many fun times together. Rest easy my friend. I love you!!
