My condolences to the Tomczak/Bak family, and to the Worsham College family. Even though I am not practicing in the trade at this time, I feel the pain of losing a family member. Mrs. Bak took a personal interest into each student and made that student feel like he/she was part of the family. She knew everyone by their first name. Both Baks left a legacy. Kirk J. It never occured to me that Joan had a last name. That was the type of person she was and one that I will always remember. She made my year at Worsham one I can look back on with fond memories. She didn't just act like the dean, she acted like a friend who would tell it like it was. My prayers (both Jewish and Catholic) are with you and your family.

My condolences to your family. I will always remember Joan as a caring and professional person who never misrepresented either Worsham College or the funeral industry. She was dedicated to student success throughout their stay at Worsham. I enjoyed my year there as a student. Joan was a credit to the college as well as the profession.
