Jesse Bishop Obituary

Bishop, Jesse H. U.S. Army Veteran, a Chicago Public Shools educator, retired sales representative for Josten's and Follett Publishing Co.'s, retired, Encyclopedia Britannica executive and passionate golfer, died in his Hyde Park home on New Years day. His wife Beverly said that Mr. Bishop loved his family, children in general and was a man of strong convictions and high ideals. He was also witty, fun loving and always had a joke to tell. Mr. Bishop was predeceased by his father, Jesse H. Bishop Sr., his daughter, Lisa Claire Bishop Walker (Clifford) and his sister, Memory K. Bishop Wills. He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly, his mother, Memory A. Bishop of Memphis, TN, his brother, James J. Bishop (Rudine) of Columbus, OH, his sons, Julian and Mark (Carolyn), grandchildren, Marion and Austin Bishop, Jordan and Austin Walker and nieces and nephews in TN, OH, and FL.
