Sue, my condolences and heart felt sympathy. We never met but Jerry taught me how to play guitar many years ago. I was was truly saddened by the news of his passing and that I didn't find out in time for visitation. He was an amazing musician and a beautiful person. I pray that God grants you and the rest of the family strength through this tough time.

Sue,
During these most difficult 18 months your Love and dedication for Jerry was immeasurable. Jerry meant a lot to his family and friends and it was the best day of his life when he met you. The meaning of "family" was defined by John, Helen, Joe, Kim, Mike, your parents and the nieces and nephews doing all they could do to give you both the strength to get thru another day.
Knowing Jerry for close to 50 years and the manner in which Jerry fought this dreadful disease was no surprise because Jerry was a very determined guy in everything that he did. From Marine Corp boot camp, to teaching himself how to play the guitar, to his talent for art, to catching fish, it was always 100%.

We will all miss him but not forget him.

Jerry, I remember the good times we had in Burnside. With your brother, George, Harry, Carl, and all our friends. Someday we'll all be together again. Rest in peace my friend.

So sorry to hear the news of fellow Tom Sims' Band member Jerry "going Home" after a well-fought battle these past eighteen months.

I shall always remember Jerry's smile, candor, and pleasant nature during our many practices in Riverdale.

Prayers and most sincere sympathy is offered to you during this difficult time of transition.

It's not over...
(the good parts, that is!)

Shalom,
Loretta (McCann)
