Jerry Asbell Obituary

Jerry Wayne "Mighty Mouse" Asbell, 51, of Elizaethtown, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Hardin Memorial Hospital Elizabethtown.

He was born Jan. 30, 1961 in Hardin County.

He is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Asbell of Elizabethtown; his father, Loren Dale Asbell Sr. of Elizabethtown; his mother, Shirley Humphrey Davis of Elizabethtown; three brothers, David L. Asbell of Rineyville and Loren Dale Asbell Jr. and Dennis R. Asbell, both of Elizabethtown; and one sister, Vicky Lehman of Vine Grove.

A memorial service is at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Elbert Lee Peters officiating.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.

Oh; My DEAR, DEAR, (FREIND) *Jerry;

When ever we where together, either it be over the phone, or in person, You are the *ONLY ONE* beside my Mother, that could pull out that *special smile* and make it stick...!!!

You, and the smile, will forever be within my heart. I will thank our Heavenly Father everday for allowing or friendship to last over 29yrs. A person just doesn't get that often in life. What a true Treasure when it is allowed.

Wait for me, in my *Twinkal of the eye.*

My dear friend , Im so sad to hear of your passing . You were the father figure to me.. Loved sitten and talking of the old things and such . I will Deeply miss you every day that goes by .. Im happy to of known you even tho its been not that longs only by a few years ..
