I met Jerry only a few years ago, but he was such a kind man and always interested in what was going on in the lives of my two sons (they cut Jerry's lawn for the last 5 years). I always enjoyed chatting with Jerry and will miss seeing him. My condolences to all his family.

Tokars family ; our sincere condolences. Our Dad was a long time colleague of Jerry while they were at De La Salle. He was a terrific
teacher, coach and mentor of young men. So many student athletes
were blessed to have their lives touched by Coach Tokars! God Bless.

Mr. Tokars was my gym teacher at De La Salle and part of the most treasured memories in my life. Glad I got to meet him.

Mr Tokars was hard working and deeply spiritual. He constantly prayed the Rosary honoring Mary the great Mother of Jesus. I am sure that because of his great fidelity to the Kingdom he will be enjoying the rewards that he meditated on here on earth.

Coach Tokars was my gym teacher from 1980-1982 at De La Salle. He was a great coach and a great guy. Rest in peace, coach.

Mr. Tokars taught me Accounting, in my junior year (1962-63). His teachings instilled me with a career with Bansley & Kiener to Park Pension Fund. He is one of the men I most admire. I am truly thankful to him. My deepest sympathy to the Tokars Family.

Very sorry for your loss. Mr. Tokars was not only a great coach, but was a great teacher too. I was in several classes that he taught at "D" and am a better person because of it.
