Slavik, Jerome J. "Duey" Air Force Veteran, First Lieutenant, Korean War era. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Jarrett); loving father of, Nancy (Walter) Powers, Lois (Rick) Polickey and Michael (Cheryl); devoted grandfather of James, Rachel, Kristin, Matthew, Lauren Marie, Lauren Erin and Morgan; great-grandfather of Kayden and Brody; dear brother of the late Robert Slavik, brother-in-law of Jan Slavik and the late Gen Slavik; fond uncle of Karen and Gary Slavik. Retired seafood broker at Morley Sales. In lieu of flowers please donate to American Cancer Society. Memorial Visitation Saturday July 21st 1-4pm with a 3pm prayer service at Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 12641 West 143rd Street, Homer Glen. Interment private. 708-301-3595
