Hello I just found out today I am your 2nd cousin, RIP Jerry Jr. Our prayers go out to The Micek family. I located Karen on ancestry today, again so sorry for your loss! From Bob Kull and family- North Sioux City, SD - My grandma was my Micek connection- Loretta Micek. May the Angels watch over Jerry!

Jerry, you have been in my thoughts today. I miss you so much. Your girls have turned out to be beautiful young women. You have amazing grandchildren and family that needs to hear your laughter again. Watch over all of us, help us stay safe. Put in a good word for us since you have an in with the big man up there. Jerry our baby is graduating from college with high honors. I knew she would do well in life ...she got all her beautiful, loving, kind qualities from you. I know that you're always near because I can feel you brush against my cheek, just like use to with your beard. I can't believe we created this wonderful beautiful human being, who wants to go out in the world and help people. I'm so proud of you for giving her these things. I miss you everyday and I can still hear you call my name. I know you'll be there and if you can can you give her a sign that you are with her. I love you, Jer and I miss you. I wish you were here to share this with me. I want you to come home...your babies are doing good things with their lives, and DAMN IT I want you to be a part of all this...it's not fair. I wish it were me that crossed over because your babies love you with a passion I will never feel. I love you and miss you.

I miss you every single day. You were my best friend. We talked everyday and I miss your voice and your laugh. What you and I had will only be known to us, but you know it was good. I love you, Jer, and I wish you were here for the girls because they're having a hard time with you not being here. Acceptance for them has not been easy, so please talk to our girls and tell them it's ok, that you're ok.They have no desire to talk to me. I truly miss your presence in my life, you were my husband and no matter what I will always be your wife. Please come and visit me, I could use a good laugh.

Dear Dad,
Its been such a hard year without you here. It's so hard going to the places you used to take me to without you. I miss you so much it hurts. I'm doing the best I can and I'm trying really hard. I wish I could do better for you but I miss you so much that sometimes it's hard. Give me strength to get through this pain because I know it's going to be another long year. I still talk about you like you're here and it's because I know you are. I love you so much and miss you so much. I hope you are doing well. Angel's cooking beef stew tomorrow and I'll have some peaches for you (only because you know I don't like cottage cheese). I'll leave some for you. Me and Angel played around of mini golf at Haunted Trails (and spent too much on games) and went to our movie theater this weekend. Hope you joined us. I miss you so much. Dear Jerry,
I have loved you ever since Mom & Dad brought you home from the hospital.
I could not stop kissing your tiny little hand through the bars of your crib. Mom would tell me to leave you alone, but I never listened. I snuck back in to see you and make funny faces at you, just to make you smile at me.
Jerry you were someone very special to all who really knew you. I miss you and I know I am going to see you again. Say hi to everyone up there for me. See you soon.

Jerry, we had some great times together like going to Wisconsin Dells and going out to breakfast on Sunday mornings. One great memory was when you were laughing so hard you had to pull to the side of the road because Al thought that a dog up ahead was a pig and he said "Look at the Pig" "Look at the Pig"!!
We will miss your laughter and kindness to others and we will never forget you EVER.

Jerry you always had a big hug for me and I will miss that. What a great brother, father, and friend you were. You always had time for family, especially your beautiful daughters. I am glad you are not suffering anymore but we will miss you.

Jerry, i didnt know you that long but it was enough to know how great of a man and father you were. I hope someday that i can be like that and make your daughter as happy as you did. Thanks for everything, we will really miss you.

I would like to express my condolences for the loss of your husband, father, uncle and friend, Mr. Micek Jr.

When a loved one dies, the pain, the grief, and feeling of helplessness can seem unbearable. At such times, we need to seek God’s Word (bible)for comfort. In Isaiah 25:8a, states: “He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears form all faces.”

Mrs. Micek, Lauren, and Rachel, I hope the bible text in Isaiah is a comfort to you(Mrs. Micek) and your loved ones in your time of sorrow.

Not many people in this world can say that they knew a person who was loving, caring, and completely unselfish. I was fortunate enough to have this type of person in my family.
Jerry was the best! He loved everyone and everyone loved him. He never turned down a request to help and never asked for anything in return.
I hope you are looking down on us and know that we all miss you.
