McGarry, Jerome T.
Fullerton, CA.: 87, formerly of Penfield, passed into Eternal Life on September 10, 2009 in his Fullerton, California home surrounded by his loving family. Jerry is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Emily; his three daughters, Kathleen (Michael) Piehler of Perinton, NY, Christine (Mark) James of La Canada, CA, and Noreen (Marcus) Schoen of Fullerton, CA; six grandchildren: Jennifer (Matthew), Sean, Michael (Michelle), David, Adam and William; two great-grandchildren: Natalie and Emily.
Jerry was a talented professional photographer who initially owned his own studio in his birthplace of Philadelphia, PA after proudly serving in the Army Air Corp during World War II where he was a reconnaissance photographer in the China, Burma, India Theater.
Jerry retired from Eastman Kodak Co. having worked for over 20 years at both State Street in Rochester in the Audio Visual department and Hollywood, in the Motion Picture Division. Even though Kodak was his passion and Jerry absolutely loved going to work everyday, his family was his life. Jerry was the consummate husband and father.
