Jennifer Straka Obituary
Jennifer Lynn Straka, nee Slamp, age 51, passed suddenly, beloved mother of Jason, Brendan and Emma; cherished daughter of Rick and Jeannette, nee Hamilton; loving sister of Amy (Tim) Fedorski, Gina (Steve) Tess and Richard Slamp Jr; devoted fiancé of Ron Arnott; dear niece of Barb (Kell) Reimann and Cheryl (Roger) Albert; former spouse of Michael Straka. Visitation Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Interment Private. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, please note that the family thanks all attendees in advance for their show of support, however facility capacity is limited and we request all attendees maintain social distancing, wear a mask and be respectful of the time so all have a chance to express their condolences. Livestream of the funeral service will be available through the funeral home website. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Way, Memphis TN 38105. Jenny was always so full of life, with the best laugh! We hold dear all of the parties we attended at the Straka home. We were always made to feel like family. Jenny will be sorely missed by so many. May God hold her tight!
