Dear Jim and Jack:
We are very sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. We loved her dearly and will greatly miss her.
We met your mom in 1991 when we moved into the Summerdale house. We became instant friends with Jennie - we adopted her and she adopted us. We loved the wonderful baked goods she would make for us -at the beginning of each school year, Jennie would bring over a plate of homemade cookies for our kids and she would say "another school year".
We loved seeing Jennie at St. Eugene's during mass, functions and activities. She was very active with Alter & Rosary and Young At Hearts. She was an amazing woman. She was always "dressed to the nines" and going out for the day. It was a pleasure seeing her work in her yard, planting and prunning her flowers.
Jennie was one of the sweetest ladies we've ever known. She shared many stories with us about her family and spoke of them often.
We would visit togeteher in her living-room and she would show me the things she was crocheting or needlepointing for her grandchildren/great-grandchildren. With such a large family, it seems that she was always making something for someone's wedding or baby shower (I still have the blanket and sweater set she made for our son 12 years ago).
Jennie was a lovely woman with kind eyes and a beautiful smile. We were fortunate to have known her. We will miss her and will always remember the special times we had together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless You.
