Jeanne Arvia Obituary

Arvia, Jeanne M. (nee Horan) Age 93, of Lansing, IL, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. She is survived by her three children, Jim (Cathy) Arvia, Tom (Ronie) Arvia, and Kathy Arvia; two grandchildren, Katie Arvia and Vincent Arvia; two great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Natalie; and brother, Thomas Horan. Mrs. Arvia was preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert J. Arvia; loving grandson, Matthew Arvia; brothers, Sherman M. and John Horan; and infant sister, Marilyn Horan. Friends are invited to visit with Mrs. Arvia's family on Friday, July 20 from 3:00-9:00 p.m. at the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held DIRECTLY at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m., 14421 S. Atlantic St., Riverdale, IL on Saturday, July 21, 2018. She had been employed at South Shore Hospital and had been a case manager for the Public Heath Department. Prior to her marriage she had worked as a stewardess for the Illinois Central Railroad.
