Jean E. James (nee Nelson), born March 15, 1931 at rest March 22, 2021; loving wife of the late Lt. Robert F. James C.F.D. Daughter of the late Louis H. and Mae C. Nelson. Loving mother of 5; Rick (Dede) James, Mike (Lynn) James, Tim James (deceased), Laurie (Doug) Baker and Steve (Deanne) James. Adored by 30 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Her life, her love, her legacy lives on … In lieu of flowers please make donations to the widows and families of Chicago firefighters. Jean James was our loving neighbor for over thirty years . We couldn’t have asked for a more generous and caring person to share our lives with for all those years . We loved her so much ! Rest In Peace dear Jean you will be missed!
