Dear Merle and Ellen:
I was so sorry to hear about Jennie passing away. I'm in Florida and my daughter just called me and told me. At one time I was very close to Jennie and Jerry. He used to bike over to our house on Sunday in Highland Park. I am sorry I can't be at the funeral, but my thoughts are with you and your families. I've met you both, but I don't know whether you remember me.
Love, Your Cousin
Marilyn (Parker) Handwerker
(Bessie Parker's daughter). By the way, my parents, Bessie and Al, were very close to Jennie and Ben.
