Jean V. Demas, born December 30, 1940, fell asleep in the Lord November 4, 2023 at age 82. Loving and supportive mother of Thomas Dallianis and the late Irene (John) Sics. Devoted daughter of the late Charles W. and Helen Demas. Dear sister of William (Donna) Demas and the late Lorraine (John) Vasalos and Constance (the late Nick) Kallas. Fond aunt and cousin of many.

She graduated from Northwestern in 1962. Upon graduation she taught history in the Chicago Public School System. She went on to co-found Ideal Realty, a real-estate brokerage which served the North side for two decades and trained and employed many dozens of real estate agents. She then decided to pursue her life-long ambition of becoming an attorney and in 1989 she graduated with her Juris Doctor from DePaul. She worked for the Options Clearing Corporation among others. She could always be relied upon to tell the truth, to state her views directly and to keep her word.

Visitation Monday, November 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM Noon until time of Funeral Service 12:30 PM at the Transfiguration of Our Lord Greek Orthodox Chapel in Elmwood Park Cemetery, 2095 North Thatcher Road, River Grove, Illinois.
