Jason Salerno Obituary

Jason, I hadn't seen you since St. Rose. My fondest memory of you is when your brother Jacob was sick, I was spending the night and his fever was so high he was halucinating. We would ask him questions and then giggle at his answers. Your mom got so mad, she almost made me go home. I missed you when I moved away. I wish I'd gotten to know the man you became. Until I see you again.

To Colleen, Jake and John:

Our thoughts, prayers and love are with your family right now. Always remember Jason the way he was...always smiling and a friend to all. He touched many lives and made them all better in his own way. He is in a much better place now and will watch over all of you always.



Jason....

You were a brother to me and I am proud to have known you. Your memory has a special place in my heart and it will be remembered always.

Jason is a dear, true friend. An inspiration. Good hearted and uplifting. He will be missed by so many. I am a better person for knowing him and having him in my life. I am thankful for the time I had with him but ever wishful for more. My condolences to all who held a place for him in their hearts.

Sometimes, just sometimes, we all need that reminder. The reminder that life is too short to waste, and too precious to leave to routine.



We need a reminder to give more time to our families and friends and, just as importantly, ourselves.

My condolences to everyone in the family. Jason was a wonderful man and someone that I was happy to call a friend. I don't think I ever saw him without a smile and his positive outlook on life. When things start to get hard please remember the stength that Jason had and the good memories that we all share of him. It may not stop the pain you are feeling but it will help.

I will always remember how much Jason could make me laugh! He will be missed by many friends. I wish comfort and peace to all his family members.

Please accept my sincere condolences for your family's loss. I was stationed with Jason in Iwakuni Japan. I have picture of him with a group of us that went on a camping trip at Three Peaks. I remember him as always smiling. He was friendly and liked by all.

To the family of Jason,

Jason was a tribute in our family, being he was going to be my grand-daughters God-Father. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. I thank my lucky stars for knowing him and I am so lucky to have my Grand-daughter, Sevanna Jayssen Russell, carrying his name on. All though it is not the same spelling, she does live on in him. He was very close to her besides my other Grand-daughter Dakotah Jai Russell. We will miss him so very much and will think of him often. God Bless and may your spirit live on forever.
