Janice R. Sewell, age 86, beloved and endearing wife of J. Roger Sewell for over 64 years, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024. Janice was the loving mother of Vicki Raggio, the late Valerie Sewell, Janice O'Driscoll and Roger Sewell, dedicated grandmother of Dominico Raggio, Tracy Raggio, Dylan O'Driscoll, Lindsay O'Driscoll, Summer Sewell and Roger C. Sewell. She was the perfect wife, mother, and grandmother, providing her family with an abundance of love, encouragement, and guidance. Janice grew up in Elmwood Park and later attended OPRF High School and Dominican University back when it was known as Rosary College. She was a devout Catholic as well as a Girl Scout leader and den mother. She was also her husband's longtime legal secretary as well as a highly competent legal associate. She was blessed with many talents but will be remembered most for her compassion, generosity, kindness, and loyalty. She will be missed by all who knew her and especially for her steadfast loyalty to family, her warm smile, her sense of humor, and her loving character. She was an inspiration during her time of suffering.
