Popham-Payne, Janice B. Of Evanston. Beloved wife of Tom Payne; loving mother of Roger (Charisse) Payne and Evan Payne; devoted daughter of Irene and the late Edward Popham; dear sister of Pamela (Frank) Francis; fond aunt of five nephews and one niece. Janice was an enthusiastic teacher of those with special needs, author, founder of the Isabella Street Book Club and wonderful friend to many. Visitation Sunday February 28, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd., at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie, IL 60077. Funeral Mass Monday 9:30 a.m. at St. Athanasius Church, 1615 Lincoln St., Evanston, IL 60201. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Parkinson's Foundation, 200 SE 1st St., Miami, FL 33131 or Union League Boys and Girls Club, 65 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL 60604.
