Janet Koss Obituary

Mrs.Koss was my 3rd grade teacher (Class of 95), she was the best. We were always laughing. I continued to keep in touch with her long after I graduated, I had helped her with after school projects, I'll always remember her apple shaped lotion bottle. I'm so sad, I just heard about her passing. Thoughts are with Mrs.Koss's family

You are such a remarkable person! I will always remember the the good times and laughs. You are one of the most genuine people I know. You will definitely be missed!

Mrs. Koss,
You truly were an amazing teacher. I remember always helping you and the jokes you shared while i did so. You always had a smile on, and put others before you. You may not know it but you touched many lives. I will always miss you. You were just an amazing teacher and person. You always managed to have fun when times were bad. I'm sure everyone will miss, you including myself.
You and your family are in my prayers.

If someone cries, you comfort them.
If someone dies, you mourn them.
If you see tears, you wonder why are they falling.
If you hear tears, you wonder if they are calling.
When you see a tear fall or hear a tear call, there is someone out there who needs you.

Though I knew you for just a brief period of time, you touch my life deeply. I know of no one braver than you. I will miss your sarcasm and genuine smile. You are in pain no longer, your suffering has ended. You deserve your peace and freedom. Be the ANGEL that we know you are!

Fred, I am so sorry to learn of Jan's passing. Jan and you go back a long way, and we had many happy times together.
Some very tough days are ahead for you, but I know that you will get a lot of support from family and friends.

When I first began my career at River Grove as a substitute many, many years ago , you always had a funny story to share, a smile to give and a helping hand to lend. Your strength and courage is to be admired by all.
My morning ritual of yogurt and coffee won't ever be the same without your morning charm and wit!! Spread you wings and "FLY", Jan! Will miss you always!

Mrs Koss touched many lives and inspired alot of people. We know you fought all the way to the end. I am glad my children had a chance to be taught by suce a dedicated teacher. You will be missed. Rest in Peace.

Jan, You have touched the lives of both my kids as well as mine. You always put everyone else first before yourself. I will always remember the thoughtful words you've shared with me in my time of need. May you now rest in peace-the pain and suffering has stopped.

Mrs. Koss, you were an amazing teacher and you helped me through 3rd grade and gave me the inspiration to become a teacher one day too. Your kindness, big heart and warm smile will be sadly missed.

Jan you will be missed. I am sorry that you had to suffer, but know that there is a reason for everything. I appreciated all our jokes about husbands (exes), and our love of dogs. You may not know it, but you touched the lives of many!

Mrs.Koss was one of my and my little brothers favorite teachers. we are both terribly sad and depressed about her passing. we will all miss her so much but will remember her forever.

I was sad to hear of Jan's passing.
She spent many years in our village, and will be missed.

You were one of my favorite teachers! I put you through so much trouble with my "stomach aches" but you always showed great compasion towards me. You will most definitly be missed, and I will keep your family in my prayers.
