Janet Griess Obituary

Griess, Janet Maree (nee Colbert), age 68, passed away peacefully in the presence of her children on April 28, 2003. She was a longtime resident of Elmhurst and formerly of Chicago. Beloved wife of the late Richard Griess, loving mother of Scott (Holly) Griess, Gloria (Mark) Matuszewski, Thomas (Lisa) Griess and Christine (Thomas) Thinnes, proud grandmother of Jessie, Rachel, Eric, Nellie, Ryan, Robert, Mary and Morgen, dear sister of Norma (Jerry) Koril, Judith Eberle (Roger Vail) and Kathleen (James) Walters, fond sister-in-law of Raymond (Joan) Griess and loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Rd., Elmhurst on Wednesday, from 3 to 9 p.m. and where services will be held on Thursday, May 1st, at 11 a.m. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery.
