Zeephat, James A. "Jimmy Z" age 66, of Lynwood, IL, beloved husband of Annie (nee Burton), loving father of Teresa (Mick) Ross, Michael Empson, Jim (Vicky) Durovec, John Durovec and the late Timothy Empson, devoted grandfather of Ryan, Sarah and Steven, fond son of Jeanette and the late Peter, dear brother of Norm (Nancy), retired from Metro InterModal, when employed by Heartland Transport, Jim received recognition for driving one million accident free miles, Jim also was a self-employed carpenter for twenty years who was a member of Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters and a member of the Lynwood Elks Club. Funeral services Tuesday July 14 10:00 a.m. at the Rosemoor Funeral Home, 17943 S. Torrence Ave. Lansing, IL. Visitation Monday July 13, from 2 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg, IL. 708-474-2404.

My heartfelt condolences to Annie, Teresa, and the rest of the gang. I will always remember Jimmy's huge welcoming hugs whenever I would see him. Keep his memory tucked in your heart and he will always be with you.

I remember the first time I saw Jimmy and Annie dance. I was impressed by their dance moves! I enjoyed watching them having so much fun. I'll always remember Jimmy Z for this straight forward honesty, and the courage he endured with his battle to survive!
My condolences go out to his family.
