I am in total shock seeing about the passing of Jimmy. I've known Jimmy since he was in grammar school. While Jimmy was just a teen he used to help me work on my car. In fact he was part of my pit crew after I got out of the Army and raced pretty much full time.God I have so many great memories of Jimmy. In fact I just found some pics of myself,Jimmy Sommerman and Jimmy sitting on the front porch of my parents house. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Words cannot describe the sadness that I'm feeling . Jimmy was a huge part of my early life and I will never forget him and the good times we had together. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Cathy,
My deepest condolences to you and your family during this time. I am still having a hard time accepting the fact that he is gone. I always looked to the strength Jim showed in his life to do whatever he wanted to do. Jim and I have been friends for 46 years, going through many of the same ups and downs in our lives. He will truly be missed. He was a True Champion!

Dear Cathy,
I'm so sorry about Jim. There are no words I could write that would lessen your sadness right now. All I can do is pray that peace and comfort embrace your heart and soul. I'll always remember Jim and you and what a special couple you always were. We had a great SGS class and we're rooted together there. So we share your loss.
With fond memories,
