Dear Mrs. Vavrik and family:
I knew Jim both as a business associate and as a personal friend.
My company, LA-CO INDUSTRIES, INC. used his public warehouse facilities for about fifteen years. Jim was always a concerned and considerate business partner. Personally, Jim offered to make his home in Palm Springs available to us and in May of 1995 I took him up on his most generous offer. My wife had just graduated from Roosevelt University and I took her to your home in Palm Springs for a week. It was one of the best weeks we have ever had, and we will never forget him for it.
It is with our most heartfelt sympathy that I offer our condolences on your loss. Jim pleasantly touched the lives of many people, and we ask God to watch over him as well as you and your family.
