Trotta, James J. 96, long-time resident of Lombard. Beloved husband of Gloria, (nee DeBellis); loving father of Jane Trotta; fond brother of the late Joseph, Jeff, Pete, Leonard, John Trotta, Rose Ruggiero, and Ann Girardi; uncle of many nieces and nephews. He coached the Girls Lassie League Softball team in Lombard and was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener, sports fan, and fan of the opera. Visitation Monday 3-9 at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd. (3 blks. So. Of Roosevelt Rd,) Lombard. Prayers Tuesday 9:15 AM from the funeral home to St. Pius X Catholic Church, Mass 10 AM. Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
