I had the extreme good fortune of being a student of Dr.Thale at Loyola in the early 1950's.He was an outstanding teacher who could blend clarity and rigor in his lectures.I regret that I did not have the opportunity to work with him in later years.My prayers will be for his family for I know that he does not need them.

Ace was a wonderful man who has left us all with some wonderful memories. I am thankful I could be a part of his family. He will be missed but forever in our hearts. Love, Katlynn

I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of Mary's brother. I know what a fine character he was, though my friendship with his sister. You are all in my thoughts at this sad time.

Dear Aunt Franny...Jim always reminded me of my Grandpa Howard...a quiet gentleman...You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jim and I shared an office and worked very closely together for a number of years at Cook Research Laboratories. He ws a wonderful person, co-worker, and friend. I vividly remember my sadness when he told me he was changing employers. I offer my sympathy to Fran and the boys.

Mr. Thale was one of the sweetest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, working with, and calling a friend. His subtle sense of humor, class, and gentle demeanor will surely be missed and fondly remembered.
