Dear Rosie,
I am so very sorry about the passing of your dear son. Do you remember me? I used to work with you and Gladys many years ago at McBride and Baker. I remember my time working with you very fondly. My dad just passed, also, and I noticed your son's obituary in the paper at the same time. I am so very sorry for your loss. I will pray for him and you and your family.

Dear Catbum,
You left us a little too soon. And a little too unexcpectedly. To say we'll miss you is not enough. The new place should be allergy-free so you should be able to enjoy all those things (cats included) that you couldn't here. And we'll keep an eye on Rosie and Jackie for you...
