McCoppin, Rose Marie

Rose Marie McCoppin, 99, entered her eternal rest on January 21. She was the beloved wife of William McCoppin (deceased).

Rose Marie was born in Philadelphia, PA, and

died while being cared for by family at home in Wadsworth. She was the dear and loving Mother to Bill, Jack (Sue), Cece (Mark), Teri, Tina, Sue and Bob (Natasha), grandmother to Jonathan, Nathan (Grisel), Geoff, Ben (Rachel), Nicole, Lucas, Tori (Alex), Shawn, Scott, Daniel and Cormac, and great grandmother to Audrey, Madilyn, Jaylene, and Isaac. She was beloved sister of Dolores and Dan, and the late Tom and Ann, and a cherished aunt, cousin and friend to many. She was a vibrant and graceful woman who loved God and taking care of her family. She hosted the annual Ocean City, NJ, week for her family, which was named in her honor; "Posie week." In her younger days, Rose Marie was an American Airlines flight attendant, and later worked for Priester Aviation. Mass 11 a.m. Saturday Feb, 21, at St. Patrick's Church, 15000 W. Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth, IL, 60083, followed by lunch at Destino Restaurant in Gurnee.
