Stathakos, James J. age 82, WWII Army Veteran, beloved husband of the late Catherine (nee Trefonas), devoted father of Joseph Rau, Peter (Effie) Rau-Stathakos, and Susan (Barry) Rau-Weitzenfeld, fond grandfather of James, Joseph, David, Michelle, Catrina, and Alana, dearest great-grandfather of Samantha, Audrey, Jacob, and Katherine, dear brother-in-law of Peter (Ann) Trefonas and the late George and Louis, dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, 4 to 9 p.m. at Salerno's Galewood Chapels, 1857 N. Harlem Ave., Chicago. Family and Friends will meet Monday morning at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church, 733 S. Ashland Ave., Chicago, 60607 for funeral Service 10:00 a.m. Interment Elmwood Cemetery In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Basil Church appreciated. Arrangements by Nicholas M.
