James Smallwood Obituary

He was my obgyn. Helped me through my whole pregnancy. I jus looked him up to see if he can help me conceive again. And found this. I´m sad. But glad I got to meet and know him. Rest well Doc

Dr Smallwood delivered my first born daughter on 10/23/01. He was the so patient and caring. I just googled him and sadly I found out about his death. He was the best at his job and I´ll never forget him. ROH DOCTOR

Dear Smallwood Family,
I just found out about Dr. Smallwood's death by accident. I was online looking for a way to contact him again. He delivered my twin daughters on 12-16-92. I wanted him to deliver my baby that is due 12-22-07. I am so sorry for your lost. I know it is almost exactly one day to the year of his passing. I will keep you in my prayers.

Dr.Smallwood was a good doctor he deliver my daughter on June 16,2003.He will be miss dearly.God bless his family.Sorry for your lost.I thank god for have a good doctor like Smallwood.

Dr. Smallwood was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He was never too busy to stop and have a real conversation when he was out walking the dogs. He was so kind and gentle that we were all drawn to him. We are so thankful for him and we miss him very much.

Dear Jeff and Yolanda,

HArevy adn I were so sorry to hear about the death of your father. He was a wonderful man who was always so involved in your lives and the lives of your friends. We know how much he will be missed and hope that all the wonderful times you shared will help sustain you during this period. Please accept our sincere condolences.

My prayers are with the family of Dr. Smallwood. I worked with him at Advocate Trinity Hospital and found him to be a very kind and gentle caregiver. He will truly be missed.

Jim, for more than 25 years, we were professional colleagues at the Chicago Lying-In Hospital, Hyde Park Hospital and Trinity Advocate Hospital. For your first seven years of Ob-Gyne practice, we were partners. Your integrity,industriousness and compassion towards patients are unparalleled. You were truly a great man. We are thankful to God to have known you. Fare thee well and rest in perfect peace.

Dr. Smallwood will be missed. I worked with him at Claretian Medical Center in Roseland. He was a fine doctor and person. My condolences to his children.
