Dear Sheerin Family Members -

It is with deep sympathy that I send this message to all of you.

Mr Sheerin was the epitomy of a fine hotelier and as I am part of the Hospitality Industry he played a role in my career many years ago. I have always admired and respected the gentleman and it is indeed a major loss to our Industry. He will long be remembered as the gentleman that he was and the fine leading example within our Industry.

May knowing that he touched many lives and they valued his knowledge and ability give you the strength to continue each day.

With Deepest Sympathy and Respect,
Joyce J. Ginsburg

Dear Elsbeth and other family members,

Cindy and I share in your grief. We consider you and Jim among our closest friends and it hurts to know we will never again experience the great times we all have shared together over the years. Jim and I had a close business relationship but more important, we shared a great friendship.

All that knew Jim will sorely miss a great human being.

Rest in peace Jim.

To the Sheerin Family,
So sorry to read of Jimmy's death. I visited with him last at Pat's wake and found him charming and witty as always. His jokes about Mayo Brothers were priceless.

Jimmy was a true class act. A wonderful, successful businessman who upheld all the ethics and principles he learned so early in life.

The Sheerin and O'Connell families (our Mom's family) go back a long way. We are truly grateful for all the generosities the Sheerins showered upon the O'Connells over the years. Your family lives the definition of friend and neighbor.

Jimmy now enjoys the ultimate happiness of heaven with so many who he loved and so many who loved him.

God speed,Jimmy!!
