So sorry to learn about the passing away of Fr. Sheerin, he was a great sherpherd in the Lord's vineyard. We pray for the repose of his gentle soul. Amen

Mr Sheerin was the epitomy of a fine hotelier and as I am part of the Hospitality Industry he played a role in my career many years ago. I have always admired and respected the gentleman and it is indeed a major loss to our Industry. So sorry to read of Jimmy's death. I visited with him last at Pat's wake and found him charming and witty as always. His jokes about Mayo Brothers were priceless.

Jimmy was a true class act. A wonderful, successful businessman who upheld all the ethics and principles he learned so early in life.

The Sheerin and O'Connell families (our Mom's family) go back a long way. We are truly grateful for all the generosities the Sheerins showered upon the O'Connells over the years. Your family lives the definition of friend and neighbor.

Jimmy now enjoys the ultimate happiness of heaven with so many who he loved and so many who loved him.
