Richert, James G. 69, of Huntley died peacefully, Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Manor Care in Arlington Heights, IL. A visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Memorials may be directed to the Huntley Animal Shelter James was born April 16, 1944, the son of George and Christine Richert. He married Joan M. Carzoli on May 22, 1964. He is survived by his children, Kimberly Richert and Michael (Lisa) Richert all of Huntley; his grandchildren, Ryan, Erik, Hailey and Nick. He is also survived by his sister, Christine Richert; his loving friend, Linda Lillard and by his faithful companion, Lyndie his dog. He is preceded in death by his parents; by his beloved wife, Joan and by his brother, Thomas.
