Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of the late Beatrice (nee Lamont), loving father of Shirley Palermo, dear grandfather of Frank (Enid) Monaco and Anthony Palermo, great-grandfather of Vincenzo and Julianna Monaco, dear brother of the late Agnes, Mary, Laura, Bernice and John Favan, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m., from Michael Coletta Sons Funeral Home, 544 W. 31st St., to Santa Lucia Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Mary. Visitation Friday, 2 to 9 p.m. 312-225-8500.
