Jim was a good guy, so was his brother Steve and his great parents. Was very sad to hear what happened. Was happy to at least see him when came home on leave from the Corps once. Jim was one of the many worth having as lifelong friends from the St Rene neighborhood.
Until the next time, Jim.

Jimmy,
I often go back and think about the great times we had together, be it at your house in the basement, or at my house in the back room, we always had a guitar in our hands playing old Zeppelin and Rush songs. You always made me feel like I was the best player on the planet even though I clearly wasn’t.
That is just the kind of person that you are, you always put your friends first.
Its funny how life turns out, we always said that we would never lose touch when we got older, but somehow we did.
Jimmy I love you like a brother and I will never forget you.

I just found out about Jimmy's passing yesterday when my brother called me and told me. I hadn't seen Jimmy in a VERY long time, but we went to school together and he was always nice to me. Him and Glen were always together and we lived down the block from one another. I was shocked to hear he passed away. My deepest condolences to the entire family and to those who knew and loved him. May he rest in Peace.

I've known Jim since he was born. Although he was never related to me, I always felt he was a part of my family. Every time we met, he had a smile on his face, was kind and courteous, and friendly. It's a shame that his life had to end so soon. I will miss him, but his memories will live on. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Diane and Steve. I will keep you and your family in my prayers, asking God to give you comfort during ths difficult time. Love you both!

I just found out about Jimmys passing. To say I am sad to hear this is an understatement, he was a great guy and always good to be around with. I knew him since 1983 and always had fun with him and never got into a fight and always enjoyed talking music esp. Led Zeppelin and guitar playing. All my memories of Jimmy are great ones-I can't recall anything bad and I wish we had kept in closer touch over the years. My deepest sympathies go to his surviving family and I will miss him so much. Rock in Peace Jimmy.

Jimmy, I will always love you. I have so many wonderful memories of us being together--our talks on the porch, our walks to the pond and spending time in the house playing with Kennedy. Thank you for everything you have done in my life. You were the most kindhearted person who only thought of others and not of yourself. If we can only be more like you than this world would be a better place to live. Kennedy and I will truly miss you. May your soul rest in peace. I love you.

I remember having such a crush on Jim in the 8th grade. We went to different grammar schools, but he and Glen were in the science fair that was held at our school that year. Talk about sweaty palms and a fast heartbeat. I couldn't wait to get to school every day then and I was so bummed when that fair was over. By the time we both got to Kennedy the next year it had passed, but I'll never forget it. I'm so sorry to hear about Jim's passing.

I met Jim (Slick) back in high school in the 80’s. I always looked forward to seeing him in the neighborhood mostly if there was a carnival in the city. Back in the days I always remembered him wearing a white jacket with a scarf. The memories that we created maybe gone but will never be forgotten. Slick may you Rest in Internal Peace forever.

Jimmy & I thought we met for the first time when we were age 20 but soon realized we went to 8th grade together. I was divorced with a son David going into kindergarten, a son Preston age one, and a daughter Brittany only a few months old. Jim and I fell madly and instantaneously in love. He treated my children as his very own. He was proud of the kids taking and showing them off to everyone. Jim and I probably spent a total of 7 years together as a couple. For forces beyond our earthly control Jim and I became only friends and have remained so. Jim and the three children have continued a Father/Child relationship. We are so graced by God to have known and shared a life with such a wonderful, kind & caring, giving, loving, and so dear sweet man. The love us four shared will always remain in out hearts, minds, and souls. Jim, you now have a rested soul with our Lord and reunited with your family you missed so. Give them all a hug for us. Until we meet again, my love always & forever. Yours, Deanna
