O'Doherty, James J. Navy Veteran of WWII, beloved husband of the late Darlyne, loving companion of Catherine V. Bissell, cherished father of Dennis (Jacqueline) O'Doherty and Margaret (Michael) Prepelica, devoted grandfather of Michael, Shannon and Lauren, dear brother of Thomas (Rose) and the late Norbert and Eugene O'Doherty, kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, 9 a.m., from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, 9000 W. 151st Street, Orland Park, to St. Gerald Church. To all Mr O'doherty's family, and loved ones. We were so very sorry to here about the passing of James, we all loved him very much.

We will miss seeing him and hearing his hearty laugh.

God Bless, and we will keep you in our prayers.

This is a very sad time indeed for Mr. O'D's family as well as my grandmother Catherine Bissell to lose her longtime companion. My hearts go out to everyone. God Bless.
