James William Moody, 88, of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, a Canadian Army veteran of World War II, a bartender at the ANAF and the Royal Canadian Legion before his retirement, passed away at Portage District General Hospital on Tuesday, February 4, 2003. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2003, 1:30 p.m., at McKenzie United Church, officiated by Reverend Margaret Scott. Services will be conducted by the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 365 Portage.
