James Maloney Obituary

As the days and weeks pass, a memory will remind one that he is still much missed.

My daughter, Gail, and Father Maloney shared birthdates and celebrated their special day
together. I pray they are enjoying cake together in heaven. Loved both of them. RIP

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

I mourn the death of this loving man and celebrate all the good and love he spread amongst his flock during his years as a priest. He will continue to be in my prayers. May he rest in peace.

My prayers are with Fr. Maloney as he enters a new life. He worked hard for us when I taught at Our Lady of Guadalupe School. I have good memories, and keep him and the Claretians in prayer. Carol Kane

God has taken our dear Father Jim into his care. Father Maloney gave so much of himself to Our Lady of Guadalupe and to our community. He was very much loved by us all. We will miss you Father Jim, Rest in Peace.

WE THANK GOD FOR FR. MALONEY.I SAW HIM LAST (about 4 years ago) and after not seeing him for many years before then, he still called me by my first name ! My deepest sympathy on Jim's death to the Maloney family who have been friends to my family for many years.

It is with sincere sadness we mourn the passing of Father Maloney. He truly was one of the most compassionate, wise, kind, and holy priests we have ever known. We will never forget his help with the Vietnam Memorial Re-dedication honoring the young parishioners & their families that served our country with distinction. We will always remember you with love.

Fr. Maloney was a good friend to Father Joe Peplansky. They were in the seminary together. When Fr. Joe was ailing he made a point to visit him often. His kind words to Fr. Joe made him smile. I know they are in heaven together talking about all the fun they had growing up. Fr. Maloney you will truly be missed.

Dear Friend and certainly one of the best Our Lady of Guadalupe church has had . It was evident throughout the parish. His smile and the Irish twinkle in his eyes will be missed. We thank God for bringing him into our lives and he will be gravely missed by many. Chela Ruiz
