Lynn, James Patrick beloved husband of Mary (nee Troy) and the late Joan (nee Walthouse), dearest father of Jerry (Kathryn) and Peggy (Jake) Jacobsen, devoted grandfather of Melissa (Patrick) Andres and Beth Jacobsen, dear great-grandfather of Ethan, loving brother of Mary Jane (the late Bud) Ryan, the late John (Kay) and Bea (the late Tom) Michiels, fond uncle of many. Friends and family will gather, 10 a.m., Wednesday, for Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 320 S. Washington, Park Ridge. Private interment All Saints Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 2 to 8 p.m., at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 N. Busse Highway, Park Ridge. Navy Vet. WWII and retired battalion chief Chicago Fire Department.
