So sorry to hear of the passing of Jim Linehan, in Chicago. In the little photograph, he looks so like my father Simon Linehan of Ballinaguilla.

May Jim rest in peace.
When he visited us in Marino, Dublin many years ago we were fascinated by his enormous capacity for drinking tea. Our aunt Molly nearly killed him when she volunteered to top up the teapot by turning on the tap of our rather poor hot water supply. This had the effect of putting a limit to Jim's love of tea.
My last contact with Jim was in the late 1970's when I was on a visit to Chicago for a Coopers & Lybrand tax conference, and he was good enough to give me a tour of Chicago.
