I miss my brother Jim as much today as i did the day he went home to heaven. He was the calming force in our family. He was a man who loved life and family. He had many facets to his personality and utilized them all. He was my older brother and felt at times that he needed to take me to task, but he did it in such a way that made you want to be good just to please him. I have never known a more devoted husband or father. He loved his wife and daughter and when his grandchildren came along his life was complete. You will never be forgotten my brother. Till we meet again, I remain your loving sister.

Dear Connie, Donna, Jimmy, Angi and Melissa
We were so very sorry to hear about Jimmy's death. He has suffered for quite a while but carried his burden bravely and never seemed to complain.
He always seemed to kept the bright side out. Finally God has given him his reward. We know it is a sad time for you but keep in mind Jimmy has gone to a better place - out of pain and suffering and you now have a guardian angel looking out for you.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Much love
Kathleen and Noreen

So happy I met and got to know Uncle Jimmy, even though I don't live in Chicago. When I was around him, I liked listening to him and his family talking about...everything. I'll miss him.
My condolences.

What a gem of a man Uncle Jimmy was!!! He so obviously loved his family, with all of his heart. That, to me, is the true measure of a life well spent. I send all my love to everyone in the Kopulos family, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. With all my love, Sue

It's so hard to lose a member of your family, but it's harder when you lose a sibling who was always so kind and caring. I'm just so happy that he had Connie to care for him in her unselfish way. Donna was there also to stay with Jimmy around the clock and it was so comforting to him to have his family with him. He was always interested in the little children, what they were learning in school, what sport they liked, and he really paid attention to them. Me and my family will miss him dearly, but at least he's not suffering anymore. Dolly

I will always remember Uncle Jimmy as a kind, quietly funny, loving man. The love he had for his family was always apparent. To Connie, Donna, Jackie, Dolly and the rest of the family, may your loving memories bring you peace and comfort.

I have many pleasant memories of my brother Jim as we were growing up. He was a calm, quiet, caring person who enjoyed life.
When he got older and met and married his wife Connie, he was a very happy man and when his daughter Donna was born he was even happier. Then his grand-daughters Angie and Melissa came along and I think his life was complete.
Jim got interested and tried many things in life, such as playing the accordion, guitar, and organ. He made jewelry, played games, loved the internet (mostly photos and having fun doctoring them to make people laugh. A couple of years ago we started a group (family) brother and wife, sisters, sister-in-law and cousins and met once a week to have dinner and play poker afterwards. We all enjoyed those times and it will never be the same without our "man" of the group. Jim, you will be sorely missed for many reasons, but mostly because you are my brother and I Iove you. To the loves of his life, Connie and Donna, take comfort in the fact that you were his life. Jackie Chico
