James Koldash Obituary

Koldash, James J. Passed away at home, after a long battle with cancer, Thursday, April 21, 2011, surrounded by his wife and children. Born December 24, 1935. He is survived by his wife, Stevie (Lola) Koldash, children, Sherry Hunt, Suzanne Paz (Tom), Tammy Henderson (Tim) and Mary Oakley (Bill), twin brother Gerald Koldash and sister Mercianne Renner (John). Grandchildren, Robert (Des), Kristin (Ryan), Christopher, Marissa, Jacob and Jesse. Great Grandchildren, Aiden, Ethan, Lucas and a large loving extended family. He was very active with the C.C. Hills girls softball league and St. Emeric parish. He was nicknamed "The Mayor". Memorial service to be held at a later date at St. Emeric Catholic Church in Country Club Hills, IL.

I remember Jim very well from all the time he spent at the softball fields back in the late 70's! He was a wonderful person who always had a smile for everyone. I appreciate the time and opportunities that he gave to all of us young people.
