Jim was a mentor to me at the State's Attorney's Office in 1979. He was generous, patient and a great lawyer. We kept in touch over the years and he always had a story. He had a quick wit and was an outstanding raconteur. My condolences to his family. He will be greatly missed.

Judge Henry was the sort of person you felt like you had known your whole life after a 5 minute conversation. He was a great storyteller with an infectious sense of humor, and a kind, generous man who was always going out of his way to help a friend. We´re so sorry to hear of his passing. Our deepest condolences to Nick, Judy and the rest of his family.

Such sad news! Condolences to his Family and his many friends, amongst which I count myself. A quick wit and a great smile and laugh, Hank was a wonderful frat brother at St. Norbert College's Tau Lamba Upsilon. Many good times there, and some good times in later years in Chicago at St. Pat's Day celebrations and a Breeder's Cup event - just not enough unfortunately, as we all grow older and seemingly grow apart, Rest in Peace, Hank, and may Perpetual Light shine upon you!

Dear Nick and family.
I´m so sad to read this. Jim was an absolute peach of a guy. Always kind. Always smiling. Always talking about Nick and Judy. Very respected professionally. May his memory be for a blessing .
My deepest sympathy,
Judge Helaine Berger (Retired). I was his chambers next door neighbor for some years and lived in the same neighborhood for other years.

So much love to "Snick" and Judy!!! I loved hearing the story of Jim and Judy swapping wedding outfits and accidentally getting pulled over. I loved his sense of humor and laugh, maybe it´s more of a giggle. I know through everything he loved Nick and Judy (and Harold) very much. Wishing you both (and Brittany) comfort and peace. -meg

I met Hank during my freshman year at St Norbert College. He always wore a smile and seemed genuinely happy to stop and talk to me whenever we came across each other, even years after graduating. He made this world a happier place for anyone who had the honor of knowing him. Condolences to his family and friends.

To Jim's family: Although I never had the pleasure of meeting you, I did know Jim for many years from my occupation as a real estate tax assessment appeals attorney. I admired and respected Jim and word of his passing truly saddens me. May God comfort you with wonderful memories of a wonderful man.
