Dear Mr. Hayes,
You were a friend, and a father-figure. I am a better man for having had you in my life, and I truly enjoyed our conversations. I only wish that I have spent more time with you, but the times we had will echo in eternity. God bless you my friend. You are now a member of God's army.

Mr. Hayes was a true gentleman and a friend in need. I was so blessed to have him as my Godfather. He brightened my childhood with road trips and history lessons that I would've missed out on had I not known him. He was always there for me and I will miss him dearly. He truly was "the best"
