Well, its been 5 years since you passed on. I figure you've got a buch of things straightened out up thee and have acquired a nice chuck of real estate or cloud estate whatever they call it. I'm in no hurry but eventually I'll see you again. Til then Buddy, til then.

Jim was one of the best friends that I ever had, in fact he was like the brother I never had, and he is dearly missed still.

Ruth, Tom and I were truly saddened when we received the new of Jim's passing. He was a wonderful friend and we will miss that beautiful smile and laugh. Our hearts go out to you and the family in this time of sorrow. Tom always referred to Jim as the most successful hyperactive adult he has ever known. Sorry that we were unable to actually get to the wake and funeral.

Jim Gorman was a great man and friend. He will always be remembered as a man's man. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.

Certain people stand out in life, and Jim was surely a "standout." I had the great pleasure of working with Jim in the 009th District CPD. Jim was a "heads-up" policeman. He knew the streets and knew the people. Jim and I became life-long friends and I often went to him for advise, knowing that I could always trust his sound judgement. Jim handled all of our legal matters and also assisted us in finding a spot down in Ft. Myers.

But the thing I remember most about Jim is how he lit up a room with his smile and laughter and humor. He was one of the most interesting and fun guys I have ever known. I could talk to Jim for hours and still want more. No one could tell stories like Jim.

Jim loved his family and he loved life. We truly have lost one of the greatest guys ever. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. God bless Jim always.

Jimmy was a great man and neighbor in St. Gabriel's parish. He will be missed by all

One of the greates characters I have ever met. As a young patrolman Jimmy taught me how to be a police officer. His humor and quick smile was always present. He was an excellant police officer, a great attrney. He was a dedicated family man and a proud veteran. He will be sorely missed and I will always remember him him with his big smile.

My deepest sympathy to the Gorman family. I had the pleasure of working with Jim while he was with the CPD. He always kept us laughing while doing a great job. As an attorney Jim also helped my family on several occasions. He truly was one of the good guys and will be sincerely missed by everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
