Freeman, James L.
James L. Freeman (Cream-O), 81, passed away Saturday October 2,2021. He was a master electrician for the Union in Chicago Illinois. He was in the Army 82 nd Airborne Division. Preceded in death by his parents Tommie and Lilly Freeman; three brothers Tommy, Odell and Cliff Freeman; three sisters Queenie, Dorothy and Marianne. Survived by his children Tracy DeVon Freeman, Demetrius King and Jamie Lawrence; three sisters Mary Price, Geneva Gholson and Sue Puryear; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Saturday October 9, 2021 Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow in Green Meadows Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00-1:00pm at the funeral home.
